Terms and Conditions

1. This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom and must be aged 16 or over.

2. No purchase is necessary to participate in the free prize draw. In order to be eligible to enter the prize draw you must have placed a vote for the Sony DAB Rising Star Award via the following landing page [www.sony.co.uk/risingstar] by Thursday 30 April. All participants who do this and update their contact details will be eligible and automatically entered in the prize draw.

3. The prize draw runs from Monday 6 April 2009 and will close on Thursday 30 April 2009. No entries will be accepted after 11.59p.m. on that date.

4. The draw will take place on Friday 1 May 2009. The first name drawn at random will win a Sony DAB Micro System (CMT-HX80), a Sony DAB Portable Radio (XDR-S10) and a Sony DAB Clock Radio (XDR-C705).

5. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw having taken place.

6. If no response to the notification is received from the winners within 14 days, Sony reserves the right to award the prize to alternative winners.

7. The prizes will be delivered to the winners within 6 weeks after the date of response from the winners.

8. Any taxes payable in relation to the prize will be for the winner to bear.

9. Maximum of one entry per person.

10. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. No cash or credit alternative is available.

11. Should the prizes become unavailable for any reason, Sony reserves the right to provide a substitute, similar prize of approximately equivalent or greater value.

12. The prize draw is not open to employees of Sony or Sony’s affiliates or their family members.

13. By entering the prize draw, participants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
